As both box and fluctuation, the building reconcilies the vibration between exterior and interior perception with an overlapping circulation pattern and lenticular wall assembly. Depending on the permanence of each program, its correlating views vary the intensity of the lenticular pattern. Straight on, the view is closed, but as a guest’s movement is directed across the wall, the view opens and closes to the site. Similarly, variations in illumination during the day reveal different structural members inside the wall that are not visible at other time.
